Our Client is looking for experienced, hands on Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join their team in Thrussington, Leicestershire.
The right candidate will be given a high level of responsibility and will be working closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef, this is a popular and thriving Gastro pub and on average manage up to 400 covers from Monday through to Sunday.
You will be serving a varied Menu of Classic dishes all locally sourced, Traditional & Modern British Food from an A-La-Carte menu.
This is a very busy Gastro Pub so you must be able to hit the ground running.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for food and wants to develop and progress as a skilled chef.
Candidates must have previous 1 or 2 years experience in a similar role and be used to using fresh locally sourced produce.
You will be required to work closely with the Head Chef & Sous Chef so you must be an all round team player.
Would prefer qualifications i.e NVQ or C&G but experience in this kind operation is much more important
MUST have a basic food & hygiene certificate
Good Knowledge and experience using fresh ingredients
